Izzy & Jason’s Race Day Nuptials ~ Fontwell Park Racecourse ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

Back at the beginning of September  Jason & Izzy tied the knot at Fontwell Park Racecourse on one of their fun packed family amusement race days and what a lot of fun it was!  Their ceremony took place in the lovely old Fontwell House, poor Izzy arrived in the most horrendous weather conditions – pouring rain and driving winds but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.  She looked absolutely amazing and luckily the weather did clear up later in the day to one of the brightest afternoons ever (eeek that sun was bright!)  After the ceremony the wedding party moved on to the premier bar in the new modern grandstand that stands in stark contrast next to the old house, for drinks, congratulations and canapés then on upstairs to the luxurious hospitality suites for a delicious meal & more fun.  They had a lovely lady in their suite taking bets all afternoon and a large balcony from which to watch the horses.  Opposite the grandstand was a funfair with everything from a carousel to those big balls you climb in to walk on water (shame Jason & Izzy couldn’t be convinced to get in these!! ;))  It was a long day but I honestly don’t think I noticed the time pass as there was always something going on and I took soooo many photos!  We had a great time in the gardens doing a few group shots & portrait photos when the wind and rain finally stopped then after the evening guests arrived, I ran off downstairs along the racetrack to get a group shot of everyone back up on the balcony (yep, you can imagine the jokes cracked about a certain filly crossing the line!).  Then I had to hot foot it back upstairs just in time for the first dance which blew everyone away!  Congratulations Izzy & Jason – thank you so much for having me along for your big fun day! x
