I photographed Anneli’s two gorgeous little boys before Christmas and the photos were to be used as gifts for their family so I couldn’t share any until now…  Originally Anneli wanted indoor photos on different backdrops, some funny christmas ones etc… but the boys had other ideas!  Toddlers and babies are not always easy to photograph together (one at a time is easier of course!) and despite having a lot of tricks and funny noises up my sleeve and bucket loads of patience sometimes an indoor shoot is just too alien for some little peeps and we have to rethink the plan.  So I suggested outside in their garden and hey-presto after 5 minutes or so her “big” boy warmed to the camera (I think it was all the talk about Thomas the Tank Engine!) and I got some lovely smiley shots on his climbing frame just playing.  I also got a few of him with his little brother together (yay!) when he wasn’t on top of him, facing the wrong way, giving him the biggest cuddle ever (he he he – my boys do this ALL the time too!) – the ones of them together before we went outside I think I was singing a (very) silly song and Anneli was playing her guitar and I may have even copied and pasted a couple of photos together to get the overall result!  It was fun though and Anneli and her husband were over the moon with the results and bought all the photos on disc and booked me for another shoot in June this year – can’t wait!  You bring the guitar Anneli and I’ll practise some more songs 😉 xx
