Family Photo Shoot ~ Juniper is 1 ~ West Sussex Family & Toddler Photographer

Just over a year ago I travelled up to Hertfordshire to photograph the gorgeous little ❤ Juni ❤ when she was just a teeny baby!  You can see that shoot here….  She was such a poppet then and nothings changed there – she is still totally gorgeous and utterly cute – it’s just she’s fully mobile now!  Her lovely Mummy & Daddy travelled down to me this time for their shoot and to visit the coast – although we chose the countryside for photos to make the most of the last of the Autumn colours and beautiful winter light.  It took Juniper a little bit of time to suss me out and warm up to me but I love the one where she’s staring right at the camera as if to say “what-choo lookin’ at”?!!  These guys are such a wonderful family – thanks for letting me share some of your photos on my blog xx

Gaynes Park Christmas Wedding ~ Mike & Lorna ~ Essex Wedding Photography

I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet (that makes a change!) as I have to brave the Christmas food shop today (hellllp!!) but suffice to say WOW!  What an absolutely amazing day yesterday.  Lorna & Mike are THE best and Gaynes park and all the wonderful staff there were awsome as ever.  As for the friends and family (hehehe) – I’m keeping the pics clean but I’ve never laughed so much doing sparkler shots before.  It’s amazing what words can be formed and pictures drawn in 3 to 10 seconds!!!  My sides still ache today!  Thank you all so much for making me feel so welcome and a part of the day.  I had an incredible time and hope this little sneak peek will keep you going for a bit Mr & Mrs Lamb  🙂  Merry Christmas to you both and very many congratulations! xxx

Southend Barns Chichester ❤ Natalie & Garreth are Married ❤

Wow, what a fantastic, fun-packed and emotional day!  I had only met with Natalie & Garreth just a few weeks before their wedding but I felt instantly drawn to them – such a lovely couple, so kind and genuine and when they told me they’d booked the glorious Southend Barns near Chichester for their reception I had both my fingers and toes crossed they’d book me when I left our little meeting at the pub!  Lucky for me they did as it really was such a wonderful wedding – I felt such a part of their celebrations, everyone was so relaxed and clearly enjoying themselves – enabling me to capture so many fun candids, they have amazing friends and family!  I loved spending a bit of time with Garreth and the lads getting ready before heading round to Natalie to get some shots of her getting into her beautiful dress and of course snapping the shoes and flowers – oh and their cute cats too who followed me everywhere but had to be shut away from the dress!  After the ceremony and confetti (Natalie had made all the lovely paper cones to put the confetti in – gorgeous) we headed to the beach at dusk for a few photos – my new camera’s low light capabilities came in very handy here!  Then of course we headed to Southend Barns just outside Chichester.  I do love it there – Natalie & Garreth had chosen their favourite games as table names and included one each of the games on the tables for their guests to play too!  What a cool idea!  I know I’m typing too much now so will just give a quick shout out to the band Recover – they were awesome, the food by Field and Fork – wow wow the best beef I’ve ever tasted – hence a photo all on its own to try and show the deliciousness of it!!  And of course hats off to all those who put a silly hat on for me in the SNAPstick booth, I did have such a giggle oh and thank you for the guest’s patience to get the sparkler shots – they were fun too!  OK ok – now for the pics.  Far too many of course!!

Southend Barns Chichester ~ Lauren & David are Married!

I was equally flattered as excited to be asked to photograph Lauren & David’s wedding at Southend Barns Chichester as Lauren works with photographers all the time and knows a good picture when she sees one!  Being the person who usually sets everything up for the photos Lauren wanted lots and lots of natural shots – nothing too posed – hopefully we achieved that!  St George’s church in Eastergate is such a lovely little church and with a late ceremony in November we were lucky to still have enough light afterwards to be able to grab some photos outside by the 17th century former granary – what a fab little backdrop!  And of course a couple under the lychgate which had been so beautifully decorated with flowers.  David’s friends put together a fantastic sword arch for the happy couple to walk under too as they left the church.  We arrived at the barns a little too late for any outside photos but it’s such a gorgeous venue with lots of opportunities to shoot inside and as always I snapped away as I mingled with their lovely guests.  The tables looked so pretty and that cake!  Wow… well done Hilary!  (That’s Lauren’ mum)… 🙂  The staff at Southend Barns are fantastic – they’re so friendly there I can thoroughly recommend it as a perfect wedding venue.  And no wedding would be complete without some Céilidh dancing and a live band of course… hats off to everyone who picked it up so quickly – looked like so much fun but I was quite happy to be stood on a chair taking some photos as it did look hard work!!  Thanks again Lauren & David for having me along for the day – here are some of my favourites….

The Langstone Hotel Hayling Island ~ Tracey & David’s Winter Wonderland Wedding ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Tracey & David’s winter wonderland wedding at The Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island.  They were first married at St Peter’s Church in Westhampnett, Chichester then we hot footed it down the A27 just in time for some snaps by the harbour in Langstone before that gorgeous soft December light faded away.  It was great to get into the warm afterwards and join their family and friends for a delicious meal – the team at Langstone are so friendly and helpful.  Their reception room looked fantastic, it was twinkly lights a g0-go!  A great start to December and I’m feeling very festive indeed now!  I’ve known Tracey for a good few years now and she deserves so much happiness – and I know she’s found that with David, such a lovely couple.  Many congratulations to you both – hope you like your sneaky peek!  Lots lots more to come….

Fantastic Make-up by Enhance Make-up – love Sarah!  (I’ve decided I was calling Stef the bridesmaid “Sarah” all day because I worked with the Sarah that morning!! – Sorry Stef x)

Beautiful Flowers by Daisies of Middleton-on-Sea – love Lou!
