Bay Tree Estates, Felpham ~ Launch Party ~ Bognor Regis Commercial Photography

“Two local sisters return to their roots to set up a new property business with a difference. Combining their passion and knowledge of the local region with their diverse skills and experience within the property sector, they are looking to add a fresh new approach to estate agency in the local area with their office based in Felpham. The sisters, Katie and Suzie (née Pettie) have a special fondness for Felpham having spent a very happy childhood there. Their brother Christopher has also developed a successful career in the property market in both London and Surrey. They grew up at ‘Bay Tree Cottage’ in Limmer Lane hence they have decided to name their new business ‘Bay Tree Estates’. Whether or not their passion for Felpham extends to that of William Blake who famously described it as “A Dwelling place for immortals”, they are certainly determined to bring a personal energy to all aspects of the local property market.”

I’m so proud of my old school friend Suzie and her sister Katie – they’ve set this fantastic estate agency business up in the heart of Felpham village and I just love the name Bay Tree Estates -it is such a breath of fresh air to see their new office and hear about their plans for the future.  I was invited along to their launch party this evening and offered to take a few snaps – hopefully we’ll work again in the future or I’ll find our dream family home with them one day when Nicki Feltham Photography goes global!!  🙂

Well done girls – all the VERY BEST for the future xx

Here’s their very proud Mum & Dad cutting the ribbon for them…

Brighton Pre Wedding Shoot ~ Lorna & Mike ~ Sussex Wedding Photographer

It was great to finally meet the gorgeous Lorna & Mike as their big day at Gaynes Park in Essex is coming up fast!  We were so lucky with the weather, such big beautiful blue skies and despite Brighton seafront being chocka block we’ve managed to make it look like they were the only two people on the beach – they may as well have been anyway!

I think…  in fact I’m sure I’m going to have a lot of fun at their wedding – Gaynes Park is beautiful and can only be more so at Christmas time.  I’ve heard so much about their lovely friends too who helped pull off what has to be the most romantic engagement story I’ve ever heard that involved candles and lanterns in a forest, Lorna having to shout YES followed by fire works!  She was totally blown away – I would be too and was whilst they told me all about it with the biggest smiles ever on their faces.  Can’t wait for their wedding day  🙂

Family Shoot on the Beach ~ The Bond Family ~ Bognor Regis Photographer

I love big family shoots like this – where it’s a present for mum and she has all her children around her with their other halves and children / dogs etc!!  Tricky to get it right, don’t want the photos to be too posed but it’s hard to get everyone in the one photo if they’re all running in different directions!  So we did a few posed but with genuine smiles of course (!) then a few smaller more natural group photos.  Like jumping the breakwaters – aww that was the best!!  Couldn’t have timed it better  🙂  Here are some of my favourites – meet the Bonds!

Southend Barns, Donnington ❤ Natalie & Garreth said they did ❤ Chichester Wedding Photographer

Not sure whether to call this a sneak peek or not because as usual I’ve got carried away but this is only the cherry on the icing on the cake!  I have sooo many more photos!  I always worry (more!) about winter weddings but actually they bring something else to the photography table and I love candles and sparklers and twinkly lights and fire pits!  Southend Barns is a relatively new venue near Donnington in Chichester (where I grew up actually!) and I am in love with this place!  I say new, it’s actually very old but has been beautifully and lovingly restored and wow….  it’s definitely my new favourite venue!  The owners and staff are fab and the food by Field and Fork is so delicious – but be warned, they are fast becoming booked up so you must have a look at their website – leave me a Saturday in the next year or two, hopefully for my own big day!

I met Natalie and Garreth just a few weeks ago and you cannot help but adore this couple – without going into detail it is fair to say they have been through a lot of heartache in their lives so their future and happiness as husband & wife is so so deserved and they clearly are VERY happy together.  Very much in love too!  They were married in Worthing before having the reception over in the barn just outside Chichester.  There were tears on the day but for every little drop there were a hundred times more smiles.  Their families and friends are wonderful and I enjoyed a delicious meal with them and had a giggle snapping away as they played the games that were the themes for the tables.  I loved the rustic feel to the barn – rustic but beautiful.  The flowers were beautiful too…. everything was!  Amazing day – just want to thank the totally gorgeous Natalie & rather handsome Garreth (!!) once more for having me along to capture it all for them.  I hope I’ve done your day justice…  I am rather pleased with the photos we did on the beach literally as it was turning dark – very ethereal….

Here are some of my favourites for now – I’m sure they’ll be lots more when I finish the edit! xx

Hotham Park Family Photo Shoot ~ Kate & Dean + 2 ~ Bognor Regis Family Photographer

I first met Kate & Dean last year when I photographed their charity Movember gig in the pub they run in Felpham, The Old Barn.  (Great place by the way!).  Then Kate’s sister bought them a voucher for a family shoot last Christmas and we met again a couple of weeks ago with their 2 gorgeous little ones in tow for some fun in Hotham Park.  They really were too cute, we had lots of giggles and smiles.  Here are some of my favourites from the shoot!  Thanks Kate for letting me share some here x
