Bognor Regis Family & Newborn Photographer ~ Lyndsey & her gorgeous family {Part 3!} ~ West Sussex Family & Newborn Photography

You may remember Lyndsey’s beautiful bump shoot & her gorgeous little man’s mini shoot to capture those precious first days of life… well I promised to go back and take some more photos with all the family there and when we both had more time and were able to fit it into our busy hectic lives!  So a couple of weekends ago over the Easter break I did just that.  It was a wonderful excuse to see them all again, such a lovely family.  The changes in their baby in just a few weeks are amazing!  And this time round we even got smiles and the newborn sleepy shots we didn’t manage during his mini shoot at a few days old.  His big brother made an appearance too and I think they are a bit smitten with each other, smiling and poking their tongues out and lots & lots of cuddles!  So sweet!  Lyndsey said she loved the photos so much they brought a lump to her throat – awww!  Job done 🙂

Please visit my website for more details on photo shoots and my prices and if you’d like some photos of your nearest and dearest too, I’d love to hear from you!

Where do you want me to stand? Informative Post on where you want me to stand during the ceremony…. {Experienced West Sussex Wedding Photographer}

I always ask couples where they’d like me to stand during the ceremony to capture their vows and exchanging of rings and the first kiss.  Sometimes I don’t have a choice – in a church wedding, some vicars ask me to stand at the back or to the side or behind a pillar as it is first and foremost a religious ceremony and they do not want to be disturbed by me clicking away, and that is fine, I repect that and will do my best with my long zoom to still capture those precious moments.  But when the registrars and vicars don’t mind where I stand then I can go where the couples want me to!  Here are some different examples of behind-the-registrars shots, some down-the-aisle ones where I often crouch down rather than stand tall obscuring your guests’ view.  Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be able to move freely around the venue and get some shots from both sides, in front and from the aisle!  Things for the bride to think about are – do you want to see photos of your groom’s expression and the beautiful train of your dress as you walk towards him, do you want me to capture you walking up the aisle towards your groom, when will the first kiss take place?  In a religious ceremony if I am only allowed to hide in a certain place I might ask the vicar kindly if the first kiss can take place at the end of the ceremony after the signing of the register so I can switch to the aisle and capture the kiss with the big stained glass window behind…  It’s handy to note there are some things I can’t always help as a photographer…. the registrar smiling and clapping as you take your first kiss, their book of instructions getting in the way of the photo as you exchange rings – I do my best but it can’t always be avoided 😉

Dave & Jo {Mr❤Mrs} ~ Farbridge Barn Wedding ~ Chichester Wedding Photography ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

I loved everything about Dave & Jo’s big day!  Not only are they a wonderful couple themselves but they have such fantastic friends & family too, actually if it wasn’t for a certain lovely couple of their friends whose wedding I photographed just over 2 years ago I wouldn’t have been booked!  So Thank you Emma & Tom for recommending me x

Farbridge is a beautiful venue to get married in and Jo had gone to great lengths to decorate the rooms and tables with many gorgeous white flowers and chalk boards with the names of places they had both lived in – it really did look amazing.  We made the most of the weather and the grounds for photographs too – Fleur who runs Farbridge was very kind and let us use the gardens of the Farmhouse so we could get some seasonal daffs in the photographs!  Of course I also love the rustic shed on mushrooms with a strategically placed wicker love heart as a backdrop and the famous bridge is pretty too.  The ceremony itself was lovely and the readings and later on the speeches, were all so special & tear jerking and in parts hilarious!  I have to say the best man did a wicked speech – I was laughing along with everyone else to that one!  The evening celebrations were fantastic,  they booked Anthem Party Band who were brilliant and had everyone up on the dance floor rocking out to their music!  Here are some of my favourite photos from their day – it was so hard to whittle it down so I didn’t bother 😉
