Bognor Regis Newborn Photographer ~ West Sussex Newborn Baby Photo shoot ~ Nicola Feltham Photography

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Lyndsey and her gorgeous family to photograph them and her beautiful bump... you can see that photo session here. A week ago I went back with my camera and backdrop and various blankets and baskets and a vintage suitcase to meet her new baby boy and what an absolute cutie! Usually for a newborn shoot I schedule in a whole morning or afternoon and we take our time but due to Lyndsey and I both being very busy at the moment it was just a mini newborn shoot - I didn't want to miss his very new stage so we squeezed it in ... but I shall be going back very soon to spend more time with them as a family, can't wait to see how his big sisters are with him, bet they are chuffed to bits! So here is Lyndsey & Adam's delightful little man ♥  (thank you sooo much for letting me share some photos x)

Tina & Mark {Sneak Peek} ~ Mannings Heath Golf Club Wedding Photography ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

Everyone says it’s all about the bride on the wedding day, it’s a standing joke – even most grooms say it in jest when I meet couples for the first time.  Well this past Saturday really was all about Tina but only because Mark was so sick, poor guy, he only just made the ceremony!  Then I managed 2 or 3 shots afterwards before he had to go for a lie down / pray to the porcelain god!  I felt so dreadful for him & Tina but he made it back for the speeches and the first dance thanks to a few pharmaceuticals!  Bless him…  Throughout the entire day Tina remained calm and looked absolutely stunning – what an amazing woman.  I really hope they’ll be able to look at these photos and smile – they might not want to relive the day just yet but … they did it – they got married!!  At least I took lots of photos of their gorgeous little man for them to make up for the lack of couple’s shots!  The location Mannings Heath Golf Club is a fabulous venue – so many lovely backdrops for photos (even if we never quite got around to a stroll across the green…!)  Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bartholomew… such a lovely couple, any time you want to get dolled up again I promise to come and take a few more photos, of you together x !!

Here’s a little sneak peek – lots more to follow!

Dave & Jo’s Midhurst Pre Wedding Shoot ~ Cowdray Park Ruins Wedding Photography ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

I’m loving all these pre wedding shoots at the moment, no two are the same as no two couples are the same!  Dave & Jo only booked me a few weeks ago and I’m so chuffed they did because their wedding is coming up very soon at Farbridge – can’t wait!  They chose Midhurst for their engagement session as it’s where they grew up and met – at school!  They are so gorgeous together, really natural and seriously cute in front of the camera, I really didn’t have to give them many pointers about how or where to stand,  we just chatted and giggled and I snapped away.  So relaxed – like a stroll in the country together!  Hopefully they’d agree (??!) and it shines through in the photos…  I had a fab time anyway and I was over the moon with the heart in the gate we found (I’m so easily pleased!) … anyone else want a shoot in Midhurst?  There are loads of old gorgeous doorways up in the town and other little nooks and crannies in the streets to explore!!  See you soon Dave & Jo and thanks for letting me share these photos on my blog 🙂

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer or just someone to capture you and your partner together please drop me a line – if you’re like me most of the ones of you and your other half will be with your arms extended holding the camera and pointing it back towards your faces… am I right?!

Bognor Regis Engagement Photo Shoot ~ West Sussex Wedding Photography ~ Nicky & Caris (and Ricky & Feris too) hit the beach in shorts… in February!!

Wow what a fab day for a beach shoot!  I was expecting moody skies, Caris & Nicky wrapped up warm in chunky knit scarves, winter coats and wellie boots walking their dogs along the choppy seafront.  But nooo, not in the UK!  That would be the kind of conditions we get in August, in February it’s sunny and warm and perfect weather for shorts and shades!  Caris & Nicky are fun fun fun – I first met them at a wedding I photographed a couple of years ago in Chichester where Nicky was the best man (and a fine job he did too) and Caris a beautiful bridesmaid!  The shoot wouldn’t have been complete without their two little doggies who are soo cute – but even though they may look well behaved in these photos I don’t think they’ll be ring bearers any time soon!  The big red heart balloon was a last minute idea I came up with on my way to the shoot, I was thinking what could I bring with me on the beach today to help the couple stand out even further?!  (he he he)  Thanks Caris and Nicky – can’t wait for your big day in a few weeks time, you really are gorgeous together & great fun to be around and photograph xx

Jeremy & Emma get Hitched ~ Arundel Town Hall & Norfolk Arms Hotel ~ West Sussex Wedding Photography

Emma and Jeremy booked me a long long time ago, I remember getting lots of cuddles with their baby daughter whilst they browsed through some of my sample albums and I thought then what a fab couple they were and lovely parents too and I warmed to them straight away.  We had a great autumnal pre wedding / family shoot in Hotham Park back in November and after having such a giggle with them then, I knew their special day would be wonderful and it really was a fab day.  I love Arundel – the town itself is so pretty and the town hall is a magnificent building on Maltravers Street with gorgeous stone archways, a beautiful spiral staircase and a large ceremony room upstairs filled with natural light and an adjoining terrace with great views (ideal place for drinks and nibbles and a group photo after the nuptials, weather permitting of course!).  Luckily the weather held out for us until a bit later in the afternoon and they even got to drive in their chitty chitty bang bang car with the roof down.  (Sorry not sure what the real make/model of the car is, lovely chauffeur though – met him before at Holly & Stu’s wedding in Worthing a while back!)…  Emma and the girls, including little Maisie all got ready in the Norfolk Arms – what a fun, quirky place with its wonky door frames, old antiques dotted about and the secret door onto the balcony area in the grand hall – love it!  Emma looked so beautiful, she brought a tear to a few people’s eyes as she walked down the aisle.  Her bridesmaids all looked gorgeous too and Maise was the most adorable little flower girl ever, I suppose I ought to add that Jeremy didn’t scrub up too badly either!  He he he 😉  Their whole day was perfect and so laid back, it was lovely to be a part of it and capture it all and more – goodness knows how many photos I took!  The weather turned just as we were wondering off to do their couples portraits so instead of castle ruins we just got a couple of snaps in the car park and then later on under the big street lamp in the alleyway of the hotel!  But hopefully you’ll agree from the photos that Jeremy & Emma looked simply amazing in their car park & alleyway pics! 😉  Here are (quite) a few of my favourites…  I’ve just remembered the chocolate fountain, the groovy disco lights on the dancefloor… ah the list goes on – have a look for yourselves!  Great day… thanks again Emma & Jeremy for chosing me to be your photographer xx
