The Gorgeous Freddie & His Mum ~ Family Photography West Sussex

I first met Fiona on the special care baby unit of St Richards – I spent 10 days there with our youngest son Seth and they were just nearing the end of 3 months with their gorgeous boy Freddie – their little miracle baby.  I have so much to thank Fiona for, her support and care and understanding was invaluable to me.  If I was napping and she was with Freddie she’d tell me what Seth had been up to and vice versa.  SCBU can be a lonely place and Fiona made it that much more bearable for me…  (thank you Fi xx)  Soooo almost a year and half later I was chuffed to bits when she asked me for a photo shoot and was delighted to see her little man again!  He’s so happy and bright and did I mention gorgeous?!  Here are some of my favourites from their shoot and thank you to mum & dad for letting me share some on my blog…  !

Movember Charity Gig @ The Old Barn in Felpham ~ Bognor Regis Events Photographer

So I was asked to photograph a fun evening in aid of Movember (a fabulous charity raising awareness for men’s health issues) at the last minute yesterday evening and really, how could I refuse?!!  Then I was asked to judge best moustache – that was tricky!  So many fab tashes!!  All face grown of course 😉  So I ended up picking 3 of the best and we had a cheering contest to see who won!  I laughed so much and had such a fun time – there’s always a great atmosphere in the Old Barn.  So who wants to see some gorgeous hairy men?!  OK….. (wonder how many still have their tashes today or if they’ve all shaved them off now?!)

The WINNING MO! 🙂

Fariba & Michael’s Beautiful “Vint’edge” Wedding ~ All Saint’s Church Hove and The George, Rye ~ East Sussex Wedding Photographer

Wow… what can I say?  I had to make up a new word to add to the “nick”tionary for this wedding – vintedge – !! because it was vintage inspired but had an incredibly classy edge to it too!  Shabby & chic and totally gorgeous!  Fariba & Michael are such a lovely couple to work with – although as usual it didn’t feel like work, it’s always such a pleasure and an honour for a couple to pick me to capture their special day for them.  I was not alone on this occasion though, my great friend and fantastic photographer Kelly of Lolarose Photography came along for the ride and her help was so very much appreciated, she did an absolutely amazing job photographing the lads at the hotel in the morning and captured some very special moments during the ceremony from the front of the church *hidden behind some flowers in the choir pew*!  As always her attention to detail was second to none, I’m her number one fan!!  Please make sure you have a look at some of her photos on her blog – Kelly’s Blog – 🙂

So back to the day, after the beautiful ceremony in the rather spectacular All Saint’s church in Hove, we had quite a journey over to the hotel in Rye – The George – but it was sooo worth it.  What a gorgeous venue with a stunning ballroom upstairs, perfect for their reception meal & celebrations – Fariba knew I’d love it when she picked me and she wasn’t wrong!  😉  Rye is a wonderful backdrop for photos too and although the light was fading when we arrived, we used this to our advantage and managed to capture some lovely memories of the happy couple together on their day.  I think I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking now 😉 …

Thank you for chosing me Fariba & Michael – you totally rocked your wedding day!  🙂   Here’s to many many happy years together… xx

West Sussex Newborn Baby Photography ~ Bognor Regis Newborn Photographer ~ Introducing the totally gorgeous and utterly adorable Kitty Primrose ~

This beautiful little lady came into the world just over a week ago and she really is one of the cutest babies I’ve seen and had the pleasure of photographing.  You may remember her gorgeous mummy’s bump shoot here!  When a good friend has a baby it feels so special, all the awe of birth and love of meeting baby, without the pain and sleepless nights! 😉  We’ll be seeing more of Kitty-Primrose over the next year or so as she grows.  Although I’m sure mummy & daddy would prefer she stays just as she is for a good while… 😉  So precious…

Chris & Stacy {Happily Married} 4th November Old Thorns Manor Hotel ~ Hampshire Wedding Photographer ~

Chris & Stacy are keen photographers themselves so know a thing or two about clicking the shutter!  So it was an honour and a teeny weeny bit of added pressure that they picked me to capture their day 😉  We had so much fun on their pre wedding shoot where I shadowed them around Marwell Zoo for the morning, so I knew their wedding day was going to be fab and it didn’t disappoint.  Stacy’s dress was right up my street – a beautiful 50’s style ballerina length dress with a gorgeous fully netted petticoat so it puffed right out – love it!! and she looked amazing!  They had a fairly close knit group of friends and family join them on their special day at Old Thorns so I apologise now to all your lovely guests if I snapped them unawares more than once (or twice)!!  I brought along some sparklers for the evening as their wedding was so close to Bonfire Night – what a giggle we had with those!  Trying to capture love hearts and writing – hmmm, I need a bit of practise with that but you get the idea!  Their first dance was incredible and blew everyone away then the reception area turned into a casino for the rest of the evening – what a fantastic idea and such a hit with their friends & family!  Thanks again for chosing me to be your photographer and inviting me to sit with your guests for the meal too – mmmm delicious!  Here’s wishing you many many happy years together and looking forward to all the updates from your own photography business 🙂  My favs to follow… there’s a fair few as always!
