Vivien & Dan’s Gorgeous Gaynes Park Wedding ~ Sneak Peek ~ Essex Wedding Photography ~

I had a wonderful time photographing Vivien and Dan’s special day at Gaynes Park yesterday – I will write all about it soon, there is so much to tell about all the amazing details Vivien went to great lengths to make and about how beautiful the venue is for weddings but for now here is a photo of the happy couple early in the evening when the harsh light of day had softened into a perfect evening glow…

Rachel & Kevin {Pre Wedding Shoot} Arundel Park

Rachel & Kevin are getting married next month and a couple of weeks ago we had their pre wedding shoot up at (the very chilly & breezy) Arundel Park so they could get used to me and I could find out what their preferred style of photography is and what suits them best. They wanted a few natural shots of them all as a family together but when it came to the couples’ pics just the two of them … wowsers, they were awsome! Here are some of my favourites and I can’t wait for their big day in a few weeks time.

Rachel & Stephen {Pre Wedding Shoot} West Wittering Beach ~ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

Usually I start at the beginning but here I just had to start at the end of their shoot with this magical sunset silhouette pic ♥♥♥

OK… now back to the start! Remember the “jump” shot sequence from their sneak peek? Well the rest of their shoot was pretty much that, right up until the sunset! Jumping, running, piggy back races, wheelbarrow races, writing in the sand, more jumping, leaping down sand dunes, cartwheels, digging in the sand – phew! I had so much fun and I honestly can’t wait for their big day. I went to visit their venue with Rachel today and I LOVE it! Edes House in Chichester, West Street. I must have walked past it 1000 times and never really noticed it was there. Afterwards they’ll have some photos in the glorious Bishops Palace Gardens then onto Willow Barn for their reception. It’s going to be a wonderful day – only 3 months or so to go!

Andrew & Claire ~ Pre wed pics ~ Stansted Park

Claire and Andrew couldn’t decide whether to get married at Stansted Park or Old Thorns Golf Club, the latter won the wedding day venue battle so we headed for Stansted Park for their pre wedding shoot, that way both places could remain special to them for different reasons. I had a fab time, I’ve never visited the gardens at Stansted before and they didn’t disapoint as a backdrop for photos! Claire was so nervous though – like so many brides-to-be and often grooms too but I had a lovely text from Andrew afterwards saying her fears of being photographed had now gone – yay! We aimed to keep the pictures natural with a few posed ones to have some “safe shots” for mum to put in a frame (!!), but on the whole I just suggested things for them to do and places to sit and then I just clicked away. They were so pleased with the results that they asked me to put together a guest book with some of their favourite images which I’ll take along on the big day for all their guests to leave them some love – erm that’ll be this Friday then! Can’t wait :))

Lizzie & Chris {couples’ shoot} ~ West Witterings Beach ~

Lizzie bought her boyfriend Chris a photo shoot for his birthday so they could have some nice pictures of the two of them together – such a wonderful idea – not just because taking photos is what I do for a living of course – but a unique gift that just goes to show you don’t have to be getting married to want a photo shoot of yourself with your other half!

We met up at West Wittering Beach and hit it off straight away, such a lovely couple! They wanted lots of natural shots so we had a fab walk and we went right round to East head to get a few boats and hills in the backdrop too – the scenery there is really quite something and I’m so pleased to say they are over the moon with the results. Here are some of my favs…
