Beautiful Bumps ~ Maternity Photo Shoot {West Sussex Photographer}

Being pregnant is such a wonderful and beautiful thing and what better way to celebrate your womb days than having a special photo shoot of you & your bump…?  I have to thank Sintija for letting me publish these photos on my blog as I know how personal & precious they are to her and her family.  I was so honoured to be their photographer and capture these memories for them….

Baby Abi ~ Newborn Photography ~ West Sussex Photographer

I do love my hobby job, especially when I get to meet such gorgeous babies as this little one!  Fiona and her husband were bought “A Year in the Life of” package from my website as a gift for the birth of their beautiful baby girl.  Which is great as it means I get to see her again in 6 months time and around her first birthday too!  Then I will put together an album of Mum & Dad’s favourite shots as a momento of their baby’s first year.  These few photos were from her newborn photo shoot – I always allow plenty of time for these as usually the little ones dictate how the session will go ~ whether they want feeding or not, cuddles with mum & dad or even to be rocked off to sleep which works just as well for photos as hopefully you will see…  I certainly didn’t mind as I got to snap a few shots of the family cats too 🙂

If you would like a newborn or family photoshoot please give me a ring to discuss – 01243 587517, I can bring the cute hats and props for baby in a basket shots!

Erica & Simon’s Christmas Wedding ~ Lulworth Castle ~ 19.12.09

Stunning location, wonderful weather (albeit a little chilly!), a beautiful bride and handsome groom – what more could any photographer want?!!  Erica & Simon were very laid back and wanted lots of natural shots with just a couple of group ones – just as well as it was so cold standing on the steps outside!  I was really taken aback by the location – somewhere I must return to with the family and explore the cove and area further.  The castle itself is a dream wedding venue, so magical inside – especially at Christmas time with the 20 ft tree!  Everything was perfect and I had so much fun snapping away all day.  Thank you for chosing me to photograph your special day Erica & Simon, here’s wishing you many many happy years together.

Here are just a few of my favourites from the day – (click on each one to see it larger…)

Here come the girls! Best friends photo shoot ~ Bognor Regis Photographer

He he he what a giggle!  Louise booked me for a photo shoot with her two best buddies after she met me at her school reunion party.  I thought then she was very photogenic and I still think it now.  They wanted the “studio look” so I took my new backdrop and lights with me to one of the girl’s homes and they brought their outfit changes and glasses of (pretend!) wine and we had a good couple of hours of mucking about!  They had some great ideas to the sort of shots they wanted and I tried a few of my own ideas too.  Studio work is all new to me but very enjoyable and I look forward to many more shoots like this and maybe even bringing the backdrop along to weddings and functions in the future!

Family Photo shoot ~ Halnaker Windmill ~ West Sussex Photographer

What strange weather we had for this shoot…  At the start it poured with rain and we sheltered under the tree tunnel.  Then there was a magnificent rainbow arching over the windmill as we headed on up the hill and as the sun shone down on us we literally baked as we were dressed for November!  The kids had great fun though and managed to get covered in mud – luckily I took some photos before this happened.  Lisa and her brother wanted a nice photo for their dad of his grandchildren all together.  They chose the windmill as a location as their dad used to look out onto the the mill from where he worked.  With such cute kids it’s hard to chose a favourite so here’s a little selection from our walk up the hill…
