Brighton Engagement Photo Shoot ~ Lauren & Chris

I met with the lovely Lauren & Chris a couple of weeks ago for their Brighton engagement photo shoot. It was great to meet them both and get to know them a bit, we wondered along the sea front chatting away and me snapping away! I heard about all their fab plans for their big day in Maidens Barn later this year – it all sounds amazing, I can’t wait! I thought they were naturals in front of the camera and hopefully they enjoyed it – we got some fun smiley shots, a few giggly ones and lots of romantic ones too. All whilst trying not to be blown away – it was rather breezy along the front but I think Lauren is rocking the windswept look in these pics! See you soon guys! x

Brighton Beach Pre Wedding Shoot ~ Claire & Mike

After the lovely Lauren & Chris’s Brighton beach pre wedding shoot the other week I went for a quick bite to eat for lunch then met with the equally lovely Claire and Mike a bit later on for their engagement shoot! More windswept fun, chatting and snapping and strolling along the front together. These guys even went on the Carousel along the prom and we stole a couple of deck chairs again for another iconic shot! Claire & Mike have such a fab chemistry together, always giggling and laughing – I have a feeling their wedding day at Gaynes Park later this year is going to be sooo much fun! I can hardly wait!

Fun Family Photo Shoot ~ Competition Winners from my Facebook page!

A few weeks back I did a fun family photo shoot with Kay and her hubby and children. Kay had entered a competition to win a mini shoot with me over on my Facebook page. Turns out I had met her before at a wedding a while back but it was so nice to see them all again and meet her youngest. It was such a cold day but they wanted the photos to look bright and summery so they braved the cold in t-shirts! I was as quick as possible whilst trying to make it fun and the kids were great – they managed a few smiles bless them!

I love the light down on the beach, it’s a perfect backdrop for some photos and often as parents we’re never in any pictures with the children when we ought to be! I had a family shoot myself not so long ago to put that right – if you think you’re lacking in photos with your kids then please get in contact. I promise it’ll not be as bad as you think – why not come and like my page over on Facebook too. You never know when I’ll be running another competition to win a few snaps like these….

Bognor Regis Maternity Photo Shoot ~ Youlia and her gorgeous bump!

Youlia and Dan came down to my home town Bognor Regis for a maternity photo shoot the other week. We were so lucky with the weather, we had some beautiful light and what a gorgeous bump Youlia has too. A maternity photo shoot is something I think every mum-to-be should experience. It’s so nice to have a momento or two of your bump as before long it won’t be there any more and I actually missed mine when it had gone! Youlia and Dan were so much fun to photograph, they soon relaxed into it and were a pleasure to work with. Just as well as we’ll have to do it all again soon when I travel to them to meet their new little man very soon!

London Engagement Photo Shoot ~ Katie & Steve take a stroll through their favourite park…

The other week I went up on the train to the big smoke for a lovely London engagement photo shoot. There’s nothing smoky about Hampstead Heath though, what a gorgeous place! It was so lovely to meet up with Katie and Steve too, have a stroll around their favourite park and chat about their big day coming up very soon.

Pre wedding shoots for me are about getting to know couples a bit before I capture them on one of the most important (and fun!) days of their lives. If we get a couple of good snaps too that’s a bonus! I am really really looking forward to their wedding in June in none other than Westminster House! Followed by a boat trip down the Thames to the Chainstore; a big warehouse and lighthouse in Canary Wharf. The photo ops will be endless! Bring.it.on!!!
