Orsett Hall Wedding ~ Seren & James ~ Essex Wedding Photographer….

I’ve only got 3 minutes to write this and so much to say about what a wonderful day it was on Saturday!  Orsett Hall is grand with a capital G – each wedding even comes with its own Toast Master!!

Seren & James are the loveliest most down to earth, genuinely gorgeous couple inside and out and their day was just perfect.  I had a fantastic time with my friend and fellow photographer Carolyne Burton snapping away all day and Matt from Short Film Company came along to video it all too – always lovely to work with them.  Oh and check out the gorgeous cake toppers made by Viv whose wedding I captured a year or so ago… Angel In my Attic.

I’ve got to dash out now for the school run and walk the dogs but here’s some of my favourite photos that stood out when I was backing up the files… just a few more to come eventually!  Seren & James thank you so much for booking me – I’ve had the best time getting to know you and after the album is done and you have your discs please make sure we stay in touch! xx

Dorset House School Wedding ❤ Melissa & Ian ❤ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

What an amazing day Melissa & Ian’s wedding was!  I love Dorset House School as a venue – it’s so magical there.  The surroundings and views are beautiful and you can really stamp your individuality on the inside of the barn – which Melissa & Ian did perfectly.  I joined Melissa in the morning with her gorgeous bridesmaids & her brothers and nephew and parents at their house.  My friend Sarah from Enhance Make-Up was there too enhancing the already beautiful Melissa!  Sarah is a wonderful make-up artist and a lovely person too, you really should have a look at her Facebook page HERE (and click like!) and remember her for your big day or any other occasion where you fancy a bit of enhancing!

The weather on Mel & Ian’s big day was a bit iffy at times, we had quite a bit of rain which meant after the ceremony the religious blessing they had planned outside in the Amphitheatre had to be in the same room as the actual ceremony – so they walked out hand in hand down the aisle as Mr & Mrs after the first kiss only to walk back in again!  But it was a lovely blessing and the rain stayed away long enough for us to do some group photos and happy couple shots outside in the gorgeous grounds of the school.  We even had a rainbow a bit later!

The meal was delicious, the speeches so funny and the atmosphere courtesy of Mel & Ian’s wonderful friends and family was fantastic!  I felt so welcome and I could see how much everyone adores the happy couple and just how special they made their day….  Well, ’nuff said!!  All that’s left is to share their little black book and some of my favourite photos from the day…

Enjoy!  And thank you sooo much Mel & Ian for booking me to capture your wedding for you!  (and to my friend Stef for recommending me to them all those months ago!!) xx

Clandon Park Wedding ❤ Hugh & Emily ❤ Guildford Wedding Photographer

Oh my…. !!  Emily & Hugh know only too well after they changed their wedding date from 25th August to 15th September as I was already booked (!!) just how worried I was about the weather etc… on their big day!  But…. there was no need to worry at all.  Perfect weather, perfect day, perfect couple, amazing venue and the most wonderful friends and family!!

I’m not going to say anymore for now but please enjoy this sneak peek of their fantastic day yesterday at Clandon Park – can you believe they even rushed out with me at the beginning of the meal after I had to just whisper in their ear about the sunset.  I knew we had a 5 minute window to take some snaps and they said yep – let’s go for it, we don’t mind cold chicken!  (mine went cold too but it was still delish!!)….  LOVE em! xx  Have a great honeymoon – I know you will!  Will edit the rest asap – there are hundreds!

Fitzleroi Barn Vintage Wedding ❤ Jenny & Glen are Married ❤ West Sussex Wedding Photographer

Back at the beginning of August I had the absolute pleasure and pure delight of photographing Jenny & Glen’s amazing wedding at Arundel Town hall and then onto the wonderful Fitzleroi Barn.  I loved everything about their big day, from the fine vintage bone china cups and saucers to the speeches where Glen sang to Jenny – hilarious!  Ah and Jenny’s Mori Lee dress was stunning… I hope you’ll all agree!

I’ll leave it up to the photos to tell the story of their day and please check underneath the pics for a list of their fab suppliers.

Brighton Networking Event at Hotel Pelirocco

The other evening I got dressed up in my 1920s gear, like you do, and set off for Brighton town for an evening of fun and laughter with other wedding industry peeps at Hotel Pelirocco.  What a fab venue and great evening!  It was lovely to meet everyone and see a couple of familiar faces but there are soooo many suppliers to list that I’m going to ask them *very kindly!!* to please leave a comment on this post with a little bit of info about who they are, what they do or make and their website / facebook details etc…!  That would help me immensely and be useful to anyone reading this too!

Of course I took a few snaps – but actually not that many (for once!)… (do you like my new blue shoes – I do, can you tell?!)
