The other evening I got dressed up in my 1920s gear, like you do, and set off for Brighton town for an evening of fun and laughter with other wedding industry peeps at Hotel Pelirocco. What a fab venue and great evening! It was lovely to meet everyone and see a couple of familiar faces but there are soooo many suppliers to list that I’m going to ask them *very kindly!!* to please leave a comment on this post with a little bit of info about who they are, what they do or make and their website / facebook details etc…! That would help me immensely and be useful to anyone reading this too!
Of course I took a few snaps – but actually not that many (for once!)… (do you like my new blue shoes – I do, can you tell?!)

Not fair, it was a school night for me! My head hurt anyway from the headband with the feather on it – it was waaay too tight!

Rosie and I had a fab evening. It was great to meet lots of new people and feel part of a ‘network’. We, Johnny Loves June are hosting a vintage and handmade fair on 22nd September (facebook.com/johnnylovesjunevintage). Doily Days will be there accompanied by Rockin’ Mark Vis on the piano all washed down with a cuppa and fabulous cakes from Dolly DayDream Cakes pop-up tea shop. Please excuse the blatant plugging! x

Much of my collection is knitted and crocheted in silver and coloured copper and adorned with treasures such as shells, gemstones, feathers and silk. The delicate process of creating each piece takes a lot of time and care – which is why my brand is called ‘Faff Handmade’ 🙂
