Beautiful Evening Shoot in the Bluebells ~ West Sussex Photographer

Nick & Jules contacted me about a photo shoot a while ago and we agreed to wait till spring time and the bluebells and I’m so pleased we did as little Emily looked adorable in the soft evening light in amongst the blue flowers in her gorgeous pink gingham dress. Emily isn’t quite walking by herself yet but I LOVE that when she wanted to get up and walk she said “boogie”! How cute is that? Needless to say we did a lot of boogie-ing that evening, just the way it should be 😉

Tina & Sander & Bump (o) on the beach…

I have been so busy just recently with photo shoots and being mummy (Easter hols) that I haven’t had the chance to do much blogging and share some of the wonderful shoots I’ve done. And they have been just that… wonderful! I’ve met so many lovely people and captured hundreds of candid moments and smiley faces that my laptop now runs a lot slower!

This is the gorgeous Tina with her cute little dude Sander and her amazingly beautiful little bump. They were over on holiday from Norway and called me for a last minute shoot and as I was available we headed down to the beach for some fun! We were so lucky with the rich, warm evening light. The best time of day for a shoot! I even learnt how to say peepo in Norwegian “deet deet” – but I doubt that’s how you spell it!

For now it’s back to editing and more shoots – the blog will have to wait a bit longer…

The gorgeous Abi’s 3rd (and final) shoot from her ~ Year in the life of ~ package…

Well it isn’t really her final shoot as dad has already asked if they can book me again in a year or so anyway – yay! I love doing the year in the life of packages as I get to see how your little ones change from being a scrummy little newborn all squishy and scrunched up and sleepy to toddling about with that mischeivous look in their eye! Abi has been an absolute pleasure to photograph with her mum & dad and there’s nothing misheivous about her at all, she’s a complete poppet. You can see her newborn shoot here and her 6 month(ish) shoot here. Gorgeous isn’t she! She’s just a bit older than 1 now but mum & dad wanted to wait till she was walking for this shoot. Bless her cottons! We chose Highdown Gardens for the pictures as Fiona & Matt got married at Highdown Hotel there a few years back so it was a perfect setting – Fiona and I were extrememly excited about the blossoms and tulips – so pretty! Here are some of my favourite photos – it was sooo hard to chose though!

Family Pre Wedding Photo Shoot ~ West Wittering Beach ~ Sneak Peek!

I usually post my sneak peeks over on my facebook business page but this one is a teeny bit different as it’s moving!! I’ve named it the BIG jump! Rachel & Stephen are getting married later this year and I fully expect them to reinact this on their big day with flowers and dresses and suits all flying up the air…. 😉

Can’t wait for your wedding day guys and to see your daughter in her “wedding dress” too, bless! Just a few more photos to come soon….

♥ Vivien & Dan ♥ ~ Pre Wedding Shoot ~ West Wittering Beach

I had a great mother’s day this year, yummy bagels in bed with smoked salmon and phili cheese, fresh coffee and chocolates, lots of cuddles with my 3 sons then… an afternoon of not being mummy and doing my “other job” down on the beach!

It was the first time I had met Vivien & Dan – they booked me without meeting me because they loved my work and we got on so well on the phone – can’t tell you how flattered I was about that! Vivien loves the vintage look and their wedding in June this year at Gaynes Park is set to be absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait! Vivien like me is hooked on weddings and any brides & grooms-to-be HAVE to have a look at the gorgeous wooden cake toppers she makes & sells in her Etsy shop Angel in My Attic.

Coming from London, Vivien & Dan really wanted a beach photo shoot for their pre wedding pictures and what better place to meet than West Wittering – a truely stunning location for photos and one of my absolute favourite places ever. What could make the shoot even better I wonder…? Dogs of course! Vivien & Dan’s adorable little fellas George and Duke had a wonderful time on the beach running on all that sand and they were just too cute for words in the photos! Well, Vivien and Dan looked pretty darn good too – they were rockin’, smokin’ & generally ooozing gorgeousness! I make no apologies for not being able to whittle it down – well OK I apologise just to anyone still on dial up with no broadband 😉 Ok, ok… here they are…!
